A little about me. My name's Natasya. Friends have their way with my name and spoil me with nicknames like Nat, Tas, Tasya, SYAAAA, Natie, so uh--take your pic.
Jakarta-born, Tokyo & Hong Kong-raised, now Sydney-based.
Native Indonesian speaker, fluent English speaker, conversational Japanese & French, currently learning Korean so I won't have to wait for subtitles.
Working as a freelance translator, editor, graphic designer, and committee member for Sydney's Indonesian Student Association.
Currently majoring in Government & International Relations and Asian Studies. Research and writing interests include: Gender, Culture, Asian politics, politics of war, politics of memory and memorialisation, museum studies, geopolitics, Environmental politics, and security studies.
I write scathing academic papers on politics, social activism, international relations, identity & culture, sociolinguistics, etc.
